The company makes and distributes off-road tires, wheels, and undercarriages. Plant Director Pat Fortin says before opening the new facility a year ago, two buildings housed their operations across the street from the current facility.
Camso is a global manufacturer and has customers all over the world. Fortin says the decision to expand the size of the company has proven to be significant for both their customers and employees.
Fortin says they have some other projects on the backburner and will make an announcement about those in the future. Camso currently employs nearly workers and plans to add 10 more next month. Police in Platteville are investigating an attempted abduction and sexual assault from early yesterday morning.
